The New Year is finally here along with the crowd of people who are starting blogs with their New Year Resolutions. But hey you have to admit it’s an easy way to get back in to blogging which is probably one of your Resolutions for 2012. As you can see getting my blog back going is one of my resolutions, but I decided to go a slightly different route on my first blog of the year.
This is my New Year Non-Resolutions
Well wish me luck and I wish you luck with your resolutions or non-resolutions.
Happy New Year
This is my New Year Non-Resolutions
- I do not plan on “eating my check.” One evening a few minutes before dinner I was suggesting to order Chinese or some kind of take out and my husband makes this comment about wasting money on take out when we have dinner here or “eating our check” is what he called it. All though it made perfect sense for dinner for the five of us, I never really applied it to my personal lunch money. I originally budgeted $30 for lunch, and honestly I packed my lunch more and used the money for coffee or breakfast. But then $30 went to $50 to somehow (on a bad week) $100 on breakfast and lunch. Because it was my own money I really didn’t see any harm. However, my resolution for 2012 is to save and not waste money. So I can’t see spending that much as a smart financial move.
- I do not plan to spend 2012 in “mom jeans.” This is a second attempt at a resolution I had last year. My youngest is about to turn 4 this month and if I could I would still be wearing maternity jeans I would. I mean they are so comfy and stretchy, ok back on track. Last year was not a total failure on being a little more girly but not as much as I wanted. So, needless to say my resolution for 2012 is to bring sexy back.
- I do not plan neglecting my hobbies. I am a scrapbooker and I love to scrapbook. I would love to get at least get a full day of scrapbooking in at least twice a month. And not to mention blogging I plan to write at least once a month. Being a mother of three boys hobbies are what keep things balanced. So I most definitely need to implant this in my life/schedule.
Well wish me luck and I wish you luck with your resolutions or non-resolutions.
Happy New Year
